First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at frog.
UI Designer
The interview process was alright. Started with a 30-minute call with a project manager where I talked about my current job. Then, I had a second interview with a senior product designer and a director where we reviewed my portfolio. The people I met were nice, but it's been nearly 4 weeks and I haven't heard back, even after I followed up with an email. I'm guessing I didn't get the job, but it would've been good to know instead of being left hanging.

Got contacted by a recruiter/Project Manager from Frog, who asked if I could immediately speak with a CD. However, the initial email lacked details about the role and the specific skills they were looking for, so I had to follow up for clarification. After that, we scheduled a call, which turned out to be a video call. It would have been nice if they had specified whether it was a phone or video call beforehand. I got more information about the job during the video call, but the disorganization and poor communication from the start had already put me off. The hiring manager seemed uninterested and stressed during the call, making it quite uncomfortable. It would have been beneficial for everyone if the recruiter/project manager had provided clear information about the job and their expectations before arranging the call. At the end of the call, I was assured I would definitely hear back from either the CD or the Project Manager/Recruiter, but I never did. I'm disappointed with how they handle candidates.
- I only presented my portfolio, no questions were asked.

The interview process spanned three rounds. It started with an HR screening, followed by two rounds of design interviews. After selection, there's a lengthy background check before an offer is extended. While the background check can feel overwhelming, it's understandable given that Capgemini is a large multinational corporation.
- Can you present your best project from your portfolio?
