Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at frog.
Strategist
The interview process felt unstructured and informal, possibly biased, with no clear expectations set beforehand. While the interviewers were nice and the company culture seemed good, there was a lack of professionalism. I'd suggest improving the turnaround time and being clearer about what they're looking for, as the role has been open for a while and the criteria seem to keep changing. It was strange for the process to span over four weeks and two rounds, only to be told I lacked sufficient experience after two hour-long interviews where my case study went well. I would have expected such a concern to be raised earlier, perhaps at the resume screening stage. Additionally, I had to follow up twice over two and a half weeks for an update. I hope the process improves with clearer criteria and better transparency.
- How do you prefer to be managed?
- What is your motivation for applying to Frog?
Strategy Director
I had a phone screening, then a first hr interview, followed by an executive interview. The process culminated in a half-day onsite face-to-face meeting with local office managers. While the experience was good up until the face-to-face part, they then kind of disappeared and didn't provide a satisfactory explanation for why I wasn't given an offer after several rounds and the onsite invitation.
- What makes you want to work for us?
- What contributions can you make to our company?
Strategist
They call two months after submitting the CV, without notice, and interview you on the spot. Without agreeing on a joint appointment. It could be a more beneficial process for both, considering that the applicant should also know that they will be interviewed.
- Tell me about your recent projects.
- Describe successful situations you've been in.
- What is your salary range?
