Creative Director
So, the interview process was quite rigorous, as expected. It consisted of 4 rounds, culminating in a final team interview. This last stage involved 7 people, including several Directors and the Austin ECD. They were all incredibly sharp, well-spoken, and understandably demanding. Despite the intensity, the atmosphere was very laid-back and comfortable. They conduct themselves with the utmost professionalism and respect, never giving the impression that they aimed to intimidate or hoped for my failure. Their goal was simply to challenge me. It's clear that achieving the high standards required here is tough, but the results speak for themselves!
- Can you tell me about your leadership approach?
- In your experience, have your project teams remained stable, or have they typically been dynamic?
- Walk me through how you prepare and research when starting a new project.
Associate Creative Director
They put me in a room and had about 12 people cycle through to talk with me. I hear this is how they usually do things, along with having you in for some really long interviews and then not getting back to you. A lot of folks found it hard to communicate with them during the interviews and would reach out to me because they were fed up.
- Were you comfortable with writing copy?
Creative Director
Started with the HR manager. Then moved on to speak with the Technology VP. The last step was a final round with the COO. The process was simple and good. The questions were very well crafted. They will probe you for their exact job skills sets.
- Describe your work process.
- How do you manage a team?
