It was pretty direct and to the point. Had a few emails going back and forth to set up the different parts of the interview. First, I applied, then there was a screening, followed by interviews. After that, it moved on to health screenings and such to document that you're qualified for the job and physically capable of doing it.

This hiring process was incredibly long and poorly managed, lasting four months with four interviews. I was kept in the dark for weeks after the final interview, receiving only vague responses when I followed up. Then, a rejection email arrived on Christmas Day, which felt particularly cruel after months of waiting and being led to believe things were going well. The job is still posted, which makes me wonder if they know what they're looking for, if someone else was already hired, or if it's just a fake posting. It certainly didn't reflect the company's stated values of respect and culture.

I applied online and then got a call for an initial phone screening. The recruiter basically asked resume-confirming questions. The job asked for an Associate’s degree and 1 year of experience. They asked if I had exposure working with specific medical systems and I said yes. I passed this and then had a second interview with management. They asked behavioral and technical questions. It seemed like they really wanted someone with 5+ years of experience and a total expert. Even though I've worked with the medical system before, I don't have a certification for it, which is why I applied for this job that said no certs were needed. It was a waste of an hour because they didn't specify looking for an expert in the posting while offering an entry-level salary.

Clinical Dietitian
It was a brief, 15-20 min auto-scheduled phone screening with a Froedtert employee about the hiring process, my availability, what I wanted to make, and general interview questions about culture/customer service. It was an easy interview and they sent my answers to a recruiter. Then, I had a separate first-round, 30 min phone interview with the Clinical Nutrition Manager. Some questions were more specific to dietetics, and more specific info about the job and hiring process--it was a standard RD interview. The recruiter followed up with detailed info on the position, benefits, etc. and scheduled the 2nd round, an in-person interview. It was an onsite panel interview with the CNM and 2 RDs. They all asked questions, both typical RD interview questions and clinical questions, to gauge my clinical knowledge and to see if I'm a good fit for the team--the team has a say in the hiring decision. I'm calling this hard because it was unique compared to other jobs I've ever applied to and could be intimidating for newer RDs or those coming from non-clinical or acute care positions, to feel like they need to study. I got an offer for the same pay with better benefits so I declined their offer even though it sounded like a good opportunity to eventually end up at Main Campus.
