My interview experience was very positive as I had the pleasure of meeting various employees who worked at FreshBooks. This allowed me to gain a feel for the people in the organization. Throughout the process, I was in contact with HR on a frequent basis as they updated me on the status of each interview round. The interview process consisted of the following: HR interview, Director of Finance Interview, Case Study (Accounting team) interview, Co-Founder Interview, follow-up interview with Director of Finance.

The hiring process started with a recruiter screening, then an interview with the hiring manager, which was followed by a case study. Finally, there was a team interview with the department head, where I had to present the case study. It was a really good interview process, the team is quick, and the whole thing took about 2 weeks.

The manager was having her lunch during the whole interview process, and there was a people behind her doing house keeping and vacuuming, it was very noisy. The camera keeps on and off for multiple times, I guess she turned off camera when she needs to talk to other peoples in the room. I do not feel respected, sometimes I even do not know whether she is listening.
