Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Fresenius Medical Care.
Intern
The interview was about 30-40 minutes long. The questions weren't too hard and it wasn't a stressful experience at all. The interviewers were really nice and they gave a really good overview of what the company does and the job duties.
- Can you tell me about your previous work experience?
- Describe a time you had to handle conflict.
- What do you consider your strengths and weaknesses?
Intern
This was for a summer internship with the R&D department. The first step involved a meeting with the R&D director in person where he asked me a bunch of questions about why I picked this company, what are situations I was stressed, what are the values of the company and do I agree with them, etc. After this stage, an online interview was conducted which detailed more pointed questions about the position itself. After this, another online interview was conducted with the full R&D team in which a combination of the first two interview questions as asked.
- Why did you choose this company?
- Can you tell me about a time you were stressed?
- What are this company's values, and do you align with them?
Internal Controls Analyst
I interviewed with the Manager, and a couple of VPs and the IC team. The whole thing took up the morning and a bit of the afternoon. Everyone was really nice and friendly. They gave me a tour of the office and I met a bunch of other managers and employees on that floor.
- Could you tell me about the hardest decision you've ever made in your life and the reasons behind it?
