Marketing
The interview process involved three stages and was presented as structured and a priority. While the content was okay, the experience itself was lacking in presentation. HR communication felt superficially polished but like a rehearsed speech rather than a genuine conversation, with a noticeable gap between what was said and the actual process. The manager interview lacked engagement: few questions about my experience, no effort to highlight the role, and comments about the workload that spoke volumes about the internal mindset. The conversation with the HRBP was the toughest, with a condescending tone, frequent interruptions before I finished my answers, and a tendency to rephrase or downplay certain experiences unconstructively. The final decision was also communicated several days later than promised, without proactive updates. I had to chase for an update. The candidate experience did not reflect the company's stated values.
- Can you walk me through your experience?
Senior Project Leader
I didn't receive any feedback after the second interview. The first video call went well, and the HR manager invited me to a second in-person meeting. I traveled to Bad Homburg and had a good, friendly conversation. After the meeting, I received no response from them. It's now 3 months after the interview, and still no update.
- What motivates you for this position?
- What are your strengths and weaknesses?
- How do you react in stressful situations?
Manager
The process was quick and straightforward, with clear communication about the steps involved and what would happen next. I first had a conversation with HR to discuss salary expectations and address any questions I had. This was followed by a second interview with the Hiring Manager to go over all the content-related aspects of the role. Ultimately, I received a rejection within two weeks.
- If you were an animal, which one would you be and why?
Quality Assurance
First, they ask you some personal questions like who you are, what you like, and what your ambitions are. Then, you're given a case study to work on, which you'll need to present and answer questions about. If they like your performance, the HR department will reach out to you.
- Can you share your interests and academic journey?
- Could you tell me about yourself?
- What are your hobbies or things you enjoy?
