Support Engineer
The interview process involved four stages, starting with an initial phone call from the recruiter. Following that, I had interviews with the hiring manager, a support lead, and some senior team members. They were very accommodating with my questions and effectively described the role and company culture. The most challenging part was the final interview, which included a presentation on a subject unfamiliar to me. The team present during the presentation was supportive and understanding. Overall, I had a very positive impression of the team, their passion for their work was evident and made me eager to get an offer.
- Do you have experience with ad tech?
Support Engineer
I first got a call from a recruiter. About a week after that, I had a 30-minute phone call with the Support Engineer and Knowledge Base manager. It felt like a total waste of my time.
- Questions were asked about my previous company/roles as if I were applying to work there again.
- When I questioned pertaining to the qualifications, the response was 'Im not sure or happy about all the lingo for the qualifications'.
- Then what and who are you seeking for this position?
Support Engineer
First there was a preliminary phone chat with HR, then another phone chat with the hiring manager for the team. After that, an in-person interview happened. It had two half-hour interviews with Support Engineering team members, followed by a 10-minute presentation to the whole team about a topic you weren't supposed to know beforehand (they gave you the topic before the interview day so you could prep). Then you meet the hiring manager again to ask any questions you have about the job and company. Everyone was super nice and friendly the whole time.
- Can you tell me about your strengths and weaknesses?
- Could you give me an overview of your resume?
- Describe a situation where you had to handle a difficult or unhappy client.
