Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Freese and Nichols.
Intern
It was a really relaxed interview process, almost like getting started with the company. They didn't ask anything about my skills, but instead focused on what kind of person I am and what I enjoy doing in my spare time.
- Could you tell me about some classes you really liked?
Facilities Intern
The interviewers were very nice and friendly. The interview mainly involved them going over my resume and asking questions about it, followed by behavioral questions and questions about my interests. No specific technical questions were asked beyond what was on my resume. This internship position doesn't require any specific prior knowledge.
- Tell me about a time you had a conflict with a fellow student or colleague and describe how you resolved it.
Intern
It was a short video call, around twenty minutes, with one person. They told me about the department I would be interviewing for. The interviewer was great and the conversation went well.
- Can you share an instance where you worked collaboratively with a team?
