First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Freeman Mathis & Gary.
Attorney
I had a one-way screening interview, and then waited about a month to hear back before meeting with a partner in the office I was targeting. Three weeks after that, I interviewed with two more partners on the hiring committee. They told me I'd hear back in about two weeks, but I didn't. I followed up twice over six weeks, and then they ghosted me.
- What are your strengths?
- What are your weaknesses?
- Can you describe a time when you failed?
Associate Attorney
It was a pretty simple process. First, you do an online interview where you answer some questions that are already recorded. Then, there's an online interview with the specific office you're applying to. Finally, you go in person to the office for an interview. The questions they ask are really easy, just to get to know you and your career goals, nothing scary.
- What are your aspirations for this particular field of law?
- What draws you to this specific area of law?
- Do you have any ties or links to this geographic region (city/state)?
Associate Attorney
The interview process first included an online interview where I had to answer about 5 questions using a program. I had to record myself and could only submit my answer once. After that, I was called for an in-person interview.
- Can you introduce yourself and discuss your previous positions?
