Marketing
I was asked on a Friday to book an interview with very odd availability (4:30 am–10 am only). I scheduled it for 4 days later. Then 10 minutes before the interview — it was cancelled, no note. I emailed the hiring manager and never heard back. I checked Glassdoor to see if it was a one-off… 2.1/5 lol.
No confirmed questions were included in this interview report.
Assistant Manager
It was very straightforward. We met on Microsoft Teams and I was asked about my background. I was given the history of Freebird and what they did. I was asked some more specific scenario questions and there was time at the end for me to ask a few questions. The person who interviewed me was very kind and confidently answered all of my questions.
- Can you introduce yourself and discuss your past work experiences?
Assistant General Manager
The store was lovely, and the conversation and interaction were great. I learned a lot and found them to be very down-to-earth and friendly. I was told about the company's history, how they started, and where all the locations are. Overall, it was a great interview.
- Can you tell me about your experience?
- Tell me about yourself.
- What are your goals and expectations?
Social Communications Representative
I had one initial Facetime interview, and after that, they contacted me and asked me if I could fly out there for a second interview at their headquarters. I figured they were interested in me for the position, so I did fly there (out of my own pocket). The second interview was pretty straightforward and similar to the first one. They told me they would contact me within two weeks. After two weeks, I heard nothing back from them and decided to send an email. They immediately replied and told me that they are “going in a different direction.” They were not even planning on contacting me at all. Very unprofessional and seems like a company of “carbon copy” cliquey women, who will only hire you if you look and dress just like them.
- How would you deal with an unhappy customer?
