Team Member
The Freddy’s Custard interview was quick and simple, but still informative. They asked me several questions about my past work experiences, availability, strengths, and how I handle responsibilities, teamwork, and customer service in a fast-paced environment.
- Do you have any experience in fast food?
Trainer
The interview process was pretty simple. They asked standard customer service questions and asked for a couple of examples from previous jobs/experiences. They responded promptly, and I've enjoyed my time working at Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers.
- Tell me about a time you dealt with a customer who was happy with their product or food.
- Can you give me some examples from your past work experiences?
- Were you satisfied with the product or food?
HR Manager
I applied online and had a phone interview scheduled with the recruiter. However, they cancelled 20 minutes before the interview, which I found unprofessional because my time is valuable. I decided not to continue with the process because their salary offer wasn't competitive.

Cashier
I applied online on Monday and got a missed call on Tuesday asking for a phone interview. I called back about 20-30 minutes later, but they were busy and asked me to call back in an hour. I did, but they were busy again and said they'd call me the next morning to schedule the phone interview. No one called on Wednesday, so I called back on Thursday. Someone finally spoke with me and scheduled a phone interview for Friday. It seemed to go well, and an in-person interview was scheduled for Monday. When I showed up, the manager said she'd hired too many college students, and couldn't hire any more. She apologized and said the person who did the phone interview should have mentioned this. So, it was a complete waste of my time; I wouldn't have shown up if I knew she couldn't hire me because I'm in college.
- Can you tell me about your availability?
- What classes do you enjoy the most at school?
- How do your friends typically describe you?
