I went for a walk-in interview, and the whole process took one day and had 5 rounds. Most rounds were good, except for the 5th one. In the 5th round, they asked about futures accounting, specifically requesting the accounting entries. I wasn't sure about those, and even other attendees didn't get asked those specific entries. They asked some simple accounting concepts instead, and I got selected. I'm confused because if it's the same role, why ask different questions? I don't know what they base those questions on.

It was a good interview experience. We started with a written test and then had two face-to-face technical rounds. The interview was simple and included some behavioral questions about family background, etc. Mostly, the questions focused on accounting standards. Overall, it was a good interview experience.

Had a long phone chat with HR, then an onsite with the supervisor. The HR rep was nice and explained things. The onsite felt good, lots of common ground. I asked about the company's financial health due to the stock drop, which might have hurt my chances. Then there was another phone interview with someone in Florida. That one didn't go well, she seemed nervous and didn't let me talk much. I was hoping the onsite manager would ignore that interview's results, but they didn't. Disappointed I didn't get the job. The work seemed like it would be repetitive and solitary.
