Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Franklin Fitch.
Recruitment Consultant
It was a 4 stage process. First there was a chat with the CEO. Then, I did a role-play with the academy manager. Next, I spoke with my potential manager. The final stage was a face-to-face interview where I had to give a presentation.
- What attracts you to recruitment within the tech industry?
Recruitment Consultant
The application started with a phone interview with the TA, who was friendly and offered helpful advice. The next interview was with the academy manager and team leader, and it included a role-play exercise. The final interview consisted of a presentation and a discussion with the director and academy manager. Overall, it was a really positive and collaborative experience.
- How do you persuade someone?
- Can you describe your understanding of the 360 recruitment consultant position?
Recruiter
The interview process was a bit unusual. It started with an hour-long phone call to discuss the company, after which I moved to a first-stage interview. This interview mainly involved a deep dive into my resume and some rather random personal questions. I was told I'd get feedback on next steps within 24-48 hours after the team met, but even after following up, I never heard back. It would have been a better experience if they had valued my time as much as I did theirs.
- What draws you to a career in recruiting?
- Can you tell me more about yourself?
- Could you go over your resume with me?
