First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at FRANK PR NYC.
Intern
It was a straightforward phone call where they asked me questions about myself. They wanted to know about my education, classes, previous internship experience, and extracurriculars. It was good that I mentioned some of their clients. I also asked about the day-to-day life, which I think was effective because it showed my interest. There were about 6 questions total. To prepare, I'd recommend practicing summarizing your resume.
- Can you tell me about your two biggest strengths?
Intern
It was a quick 15-minute phone chat. They asked some easy questions about why I was interested in public relations and what I hoped to get out of the internship. The interviewer was friendly.
- Can you tell me about your public relations experience?
- What are your motivations for pursuing a career in public relations?
- What are your expectations for this internship and what do you hope to learn?
Intern
It was a phone interview where they asked basic questions and let me ask my own questions. I think they do this because asking questions shows your personality and what you want to get out of the internship. Being comfortable on the phone is important for the job.
