I met with a few different people from the department. They were friendly and asked some basic questions. My interview had a couple of rounds, mostly based on when the people I met with were available. Overall, it was a good process.

I got a call and did a phone interview right then. Then, about 1-2 weeks later, I had a video call interview. After that, they said they'd talk to the hiring team about my employment and I heard back maybe another 1-2 weeks after that.

I applied and they emailed me asking for 5+ professional references for a survey. I gave them the info and my previous execs filled out the surveys. Then, two weeks later, I got an email saying my qualifications didn't match. I'm not upset about not getting interviewed or an offer, but I'm concerned they asked for references before reviewing my application, which seems inefficient and wasted my references' time. It reflects badly on the company and the recruitment team.

I had one interview with 2 people, which was unexpected. They were easy to talk with. I learned that they don't have paid holidays, and you have to use your PTO for holidays. This really surprised me because most places I've worked, if there's an expectation to work on holidays, we rotate them so you get Thanksgiving or Christmas or New Years off. Someone I know in another admin role confirmed that this organization is awful with that and even had to use FMLA for time off when a relative had cancer. She could not recommend I work here if I got an offer.
