Awful interview process, complicated steps, and all for a miserable salary barely above minimum wage. No matter your background, you start in reception where you're dumped to deal with unhappy people and relieve the current advisors of that duty. Recruiters showing up an hour late, with no apologies and demeaning comments about professional experience. Extremely toxic, not worth ruining your health over.

So I applied at the end of August on the pôle emploi website and then got invited to an info meeting which was like the first filter based on diploma level. After that I took online psychometric tests. A week after the tests (you need at least 3/5 in all categories to pass this stage), I got a call back for an interview the following week with an agency director and the HR of the department. It was a tough interview where they put me in situations and constantly questioned me to test me and see if my profile fit. Oh, and before the interview, I had to answer a written questionnaire about what I knew about pôle emploi and its purpose, the qualities and missions of a 'conseiller', my motivations for joining the company, and my salary expectations. I got a positive answer 8 days after my interview.
