I had two onsite interviews. The first round, I spoke with the hiring manager about my resume and completed a pen-and-paper test, which was fairly straightforward. The subsequent round involved whiteboard coding.

The interview was difficult for me, but this was my first Software interview, and I was unprepared for the whiteboard questions. I'm sure if you find some coding interview practice questions, it will help you prepare for this sort of interview. Before the interview, FragranceX sent an email to the prospective interns instructing us to study MVC framework and SQL Express, or mySQL backend in order to be prepared for the interview. I did these things, and the interview had nothing at all to do with them. That's my only complaint.

Behavioral Technical Coding

I first chatted with the founder about my achievements and how they related to the company's challenges, like handling security or high traffic. Then, I had a technical interview with one of the developers. The last part was a developer skill test using devskiller. Honestly, I was put off early on by the founder's language and rushed demeanor, and seeing the developers in sweatpants in a cramped room wasn't my scene either. Good benefits though, if that's your thing.
