I applied online through the Fragomen website. A recruiter emailed me a few weeks later to schedule a phone call to discuss the role. Then, a more senior recruiter set up a WebEx interview with a partner and two senior associates. This ~20 minute interview was quite casual. The partner asked if I was interested in a permanent, full-time associate position, which I had applied for as a contract attorney. A few hours after the video interview, the senior recruiter offered me the permanent associate position. Everyone I interacted with was friendly and encouraging.

So first, an HR Recruiter gives you a call to see if you're a potential fit and then schedules an interview. The interview itself was two 1-hour blocks that were back-to-back. The first hour was with two senior associates, and the second hour was with an associate and a partner. Overall, the process was pretty bad. They rescheduled multiple times and I wasn't even told when the interview time was until the day before. After the interview, it took weeks to get the final results.
