The leader was nice. The questions weren't too difficult. They care more about attitude and learning spirit than experience. It was only 1 round. It's easier if you have a referral. Maybe English might be used if the Vietnamese leader is unavailable.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

So the whole interview is basically three parts: first, a phone screen, then a project, and finally an on-site. The phone screen was pretty standard, just HR stuff and talking through my resume. Then there was this project where I had to design something, showing off what I know about engineering, design, and manufacturing. Knowing about DFX and manufacturing processes would have been super helpful. I ended up presenting that project during the on-site, which was about half a day, like 4-5 hours, and it was a presentation followed by more questions. They really dug deep with the questions.

Behavioral Presentation

I first connected with a recruiter at my school's career fair and gave them my resume. A few months later, an HR person called me for a phone screen, which was mostly behavioral questions. Then, I went to their City of Industry office for an in-person interview. It was a panel with the HR person, one senior engineer there, and another senior engineer remotely from Pennsylvania. I had to present a project I worked on and answer more behavioral questions. They also asked about what I was interested in and what roles I'd consider. The vibe was pretty chill.

  • Suppose you and four others finished a project, and you were given two football game tickets for you and a teammate. How would you handle that situation?
  • What are your areas of interest?
  • What kind of positions would you be open to?
