This is a pretty typical law firm interview. You start with two screener interviews. If they like you, then you'll have a callback interview where you meet 3 to 4 people. You might also meet with recruiters. After an offer, you have to run conflicts checks.

I applied through my law school's OCI and then had a callback with a bunch of the firm's associates and partners. The callback was pretty smooth; I ended up having the same conversation with different associates and partners that I had during the first interview. The callback seemed mostly to check if our personalities click and if I seem like a normal, likable person who could fit into the company culture.

The interview itself was fine, nothing much to note about the questions. It was standard boilerplate, asking why you want Fox and why you want to lateral. However, it got weird when the interviewer talked about 'rainmakers' and emphasized that there are fire drills every Friday night where assignments are randomly distributed. These fire drills happen so often that you're always working, and other assignments are ignored. You don't get a partner; assignments are funneled through one person. If there's a specific type of case you don't want to work on, they don't care. There are frequent mandatory weekend Philly trainings for 'professional development,' even when you're supposed to be finishing up last-minute work. They expect seniors to train juniors, and that time isn't counted. The interviewer said your family is priority one, and Fox is priority 1A. It's a meat grinder. To brag about being 'big law' and pay below market is crazy.
