Attorney
The interview process was extremely unprofessional, especially from the director of legal recruitment. It was way too long and the times and dates kept changing. I was very let down by the whole experience and wouldn't suggest it to anyone looking to advance their legal career. It was quite off-putting.
- Were there many questions about your previous role?
Associate
This is a pretty typical law firm interview. You start with two screener interviews. If they like you, then you'll have a callback interview where you meet 3 to 4 people. You might also meet with recruiters. After an offer, you have to run conflicts checks.
- What's your strategy for tackling a legal problem you haven't encountered before?
- How do you handle having many deadlines at the same time?
- Describe how you deal with a challenging client or situation.
Legal Assistant/Paralegal
I dodged a bullet, thank GOD. The firm didn't look or sound professional during the interview process. I ignored the negative reviews thinking my experience would be different. The firm and its staff seemed extremely unorganized, and I suspect the toxic reviews are accurate because employees rarely lie about that. I learned enough about how poorly the firm functioned from the interview process.
- What motivates you to seek employment with this firm?
Executive Assistant
It was a 30 min informational interview. They asked behavioral questions, and it was pretty straightforward. They wanted to get to know my legal background, and it helps if you've worked at a law firm. They started by having me walk through my resume and then asked 3-4 behavioral questions.
- Have you handled billing previously?
- What accomplishments are you most proud of?
