Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Four Seasons.
Finance Assistant
I applied online and they arranged an online interview. I had to submit documents and a test before the interview. The first interview was with just one interviewer from HR. They asked a lot of questions not really about the job, like about my private life, my family members' jobs, and my employment history and references. They asked a lot of behavioral questions, but if I had any questions about the job, they wouldn't answer and kept it secret. The interview took an hour. The whole experience was just them asking questions and me answering. They didn't share any company background or job info.

After I sent my CV, the recruitment manager called me and told me I'd have an interview the next day to see if it was a good fit. I agreed, a bit nervous since it was my first interview after college! The next day, I was pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome and the really nice environment. The interview was straightforward and acceptable. They asked about me, my past experience, my English skills, and my personality. Then I met my direct manager the same day and got confirmation that I'd soon meet the division head. Two days later, I met him for a very professional interview, and it was great meeting such people. The questions focused on work, how I'd handle specific situations, how I'd treat others, my problem-solving approach, and my short and long-term plans. Finally, I met the general manager, a very nice person, who asked general questions and then approved me.
- What is your strategy for solving problems?

It was a good experience overall. The number of rounds varied depending on the location. The questions were pretty standard, and they responded quickly after each stage. It felt more like a chat than an interview.
- Can you share an instance where you experienced failure?
