Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Four Seasons.
Accountant
Started with HR for a survey and some general and personal questions, not many professional ones. Then, a second interview with the Head of Department who asked both professional and personal questions. The final interview was with the General Manager, focusing on background and personal questions. The first interview was in Russian, but the second and third were in English since the managers were expats.
- What is your understanding of FS?
- Could you elaborate on your previous experience?
- We want to assess your friendliness and openness.
Accounts Assistant
There were four interviews total, one with HR, one with the Assistant Director of Finance (ADOF), one with the Director of Finance (DOF), and a final one with the General Manager (GM). The interviews with HR, ADOF, and DOF all happened on the same day and lasted about 2 hours. Everyone was really nice, and the interview was conducted online because of Covid.
- Could you start by telling me a bit about yourself?
- What would you say are your main strengths and weaknesses?
- Can you share an instance where you experienced failure?
Staff Accountant
The interview process started with a phone screening from HR (People and Culture), then moved on to interviews with the Accounting Manager, Director of Finance, and finally the General Manager. The whole process was pretty straightforward, although it involved several rounds with different people. It felt smooth and didn't take too long.
- Can you share your motivation for wanting to join Four Seasons?
