I had my interview in a calm setting with nice furniture and the interview panel. They asked me a lot about my experience with patient care, working with others, and managing teams. I got to answer their questions while they took notes. The senior staff also explained the company's policies and how they hire people. Afterwards, they mentioned the office would reach out for further steps, and a woman did call and email me as expected. I thought the staff were wonderful, a 10/10 for how kind and helpful they were throughout the whole process and while I was being onboarded.

I had a face-to-face interview with the home manager and one of the nurses. We introduced ourselves (names, roles). Then we had a short discussion about the company, the care home, and the position. They explained the interview structure and the process. We had a view of the place. Both of them were optimistic and transparent, which gave me a good vibe during the interview.

The interview process was interesting, but I didn't see the manager again. My immediate manager was great, very professional and supportive, and so was the new manager who is replacing her. I received an offer the next day, and then it was about 2 months before I was appointed.
