I went into the office and met the hiring manager face to face. We talked a lot about the company and the team. It was a really nice vibe, and I was super stoked about the chance.

I thought I was applying to a marketing startup in Cincinnati, but there were a few companies with similar names and the same address. Then Four Facets reached out, even though I never applied. They explained there are four companies under Four Facets at the same address. I accepted an interview with Four Facets, still thinking it was for a marketing startup. The positions I applied for didn't exist. The interview was a surprise group interview where they tried to push us into sales roles that felt like multilevel marketing. They initially said it was for a Brand Ambassador role, not sales. I learned they only have one client and expect weekend work. They called later that day with an offer, but I found bad reviews and decided to pass.

The interview process was very inclusive and detailed. The interviewer took time to answer all my questions and gave plenty of information. It was a group interview style but with small groups to ensure everyone was given time evenly.

None of the interviews were super tough, but it was challenging to gauge the interviewers' reactions. They were really professional, and it was hard to tell if they liked my answers, which definitely threw me off a bit. I ended up getting the job, but I honestly wasn't sure during the process! My advice is to be upfront about what you're looking for and what you're not; that way, you'll either be a good fit or figure out it's not the right role. Both outcomes are better than just saying what you think they want to hear, which, frankly, I think they'd probably figure out anyway.
