It was fine, the recruiter was really bubbly and awesome. They made sure each step was clear. I had to demo a lesson, and I was told to come prepared with materials like PowerPoints. The classrooms have about 30 kids. After the demo, I had to answer and ask questions. The whole thing took about 2 hours.

I feel like I'm a pretty likable person, but the phone interview really felt like they were just trying to eliminate candidates. They seemed completely disinterested from the start, which just made me more anxious. It's tough finding your first teaching job right out of college, and this interview made me feel really bad about myself. They really focused on my weaknesses (being new to the field, lacking experience beyond student teaching and summer camps). I told them I'm eager to learn, but they didn't seem to care. The constant typing in the background didn't help either. I don't get why they even did a phone interview since my resume clearly showed I'm a recent grad with no prior teaching roles. If you just graduated, don't even bother applying here. They don't want recent grads. I guess they just need to show they interviewed multiple people for the job. I'm glad I got offers from other places, but this was the most uncomfortable and humiliating interview I went through. I tried my best even though they spoke to me so poorly. I think they had already made up their mind before they even called me.

I filed my application and about two weeks later, I had a phone interview with a teacher from the department. Two weeks after that, I interviewed with the Lead Teacher, and then a week later with the Principal. The following week, I had an interview with the Board of Directors, which was a panel. After the interviews, I had to do presentations and teach sample lessons: a virtual lesson, a one-on-one lesson, a lesson for fellow teachers, and an in-class demonstration. This was followed by a psychological screening a few days later, and then I was offered the position two days after that.

I applied and was invited for an interview, where I had to schedule my availability. After that, I received no response. I followed up and was ignored. A month later, I received an unexpected call for a phone interview. I did well, but was ghosted again, only to be rejected three weeks later.
