I was first contacted by HR for a video interview. It was with two managers who explained the role and were very friendly, creating a good atmosphere. Then, I was invited for an in-person interview. However, HR stated they wouldn't cover any travel expenses for the trip from Berlin to Grabenstätt (which is a long journey). They offered a specific date that I couldn't change to accommodate my schedule and budget. Because of these circumstances, I decided not to proceed with the interview. It was disappointing given the company's reputation.

Applied online and got a quick response for a phone interview with HR. It was a quick screen to check qualifications. Then had a video interview with my potential supervisor. Got the offer in less than a week.

Behavioral Technical Case

It started with a Skype interview which went well. Then I had a face-to-face interview in Basel, which was the last step. I felt like they were actively trying to find reasons to disqualify me, questioning everything I said. Unfortunately, I got rejected via a generic email. The worst part is I had to get my previous managers involved for a reference check, which felt like a hassle when they weren't sure about me from the start. To top it off, they didn't even cover my travel costs. It was quite a letdown.
