First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Fossil Group.
Graphic Designer
They started out with telling me about the job, then they asked me to talk about my work and say some stuff about it. After that, I was asked to just talk about myself and tell them about me. Then they asked me if I had any questions. It was a pretty simple process overall.
- Can you tell me about your work?
- Tell me about yourself and your background.
- Do you have any questions for us?
Graphic Designer
I had a phone chat first with HR, then came in for the interview and met with them again and showed my work. After meeting with them, I interviewed with the art director. It was pretty chill, more like talking. The art director mainly wanted to know my personality, work ethic, and if I was sincere. By the end of the week, HR called me back and I got the job.
- What do you hope to learn during your internship at Fossil?
Graphic Designer
HR reached out via email. I went in and they immediately started asking me to talk about my work, and I thought it was a creative person. After 30 minutes, I realized it was HR and they asked me to wait for the art directors. I was already worn out and just passed my portfolio around to them when they finally showed up. I didn't hear back for a month. Then the same thing happened again, but the main creative director was there at the end this time. I got an offer two weeks after that.
- In five years, where do you envision your career path heading?
- Could you describe a significant challenge you encountered and detail your approach to resolving it?
