Technical Coding

I was applying for the entry-level position. It was a pretty standard interview. Recruiter was friendly and professional. OA, then 2 rounds of tech screening, then onsite which consisted of 3 technical rounds. The problems were all algos and harder than other companies. My onsite was more like leetcode hard. The engineers were professional, though I wouldn't say they were all friendly and helpful. The third interviewer kept playing his wallet and moving around while I was solving the problem. It was so disrupting, and I didn't have much time to explain my thoughts, basically, he was kinda "forced" you to code out his idea. Overall, it's a fair experience, learned a lot, and make sure you prepared algos super well for the interviews.

Behavioral Technical Presentation Case

My interview experience with ForUsAll was great. The whole thing from applying to getting an offer took a little over a month. It started with a phone call with the head of people. Then, I had a video call with the hiring manager where we talked about an assignment I was given on 401(k) tests. There was a scheduling issue with the video call, but it was rescheduled and went smoothly. After those calls, I went onsite for interviews with the hiring manager again, a product manager, and the VP of client services & product. We talked about their tools, processes, problems they're solving, and business strategy, and they asked about my domain, technical, and personal experience. The final round was an interview with the CEO, which was more about personality and motivation and whether I'd be a good fit for the company culture. I really appreciated how thoughtful they were with their process; I always knew what to expect next, and everyone was respectful. I ended up declining the offer for personal reasons, but it was one of the best interview processes I've been through.

Behavioral Other

I had a phone interview that got rescheduled twice. The actual phone screen call was with the person in charge of the department. They started by saying they'd set the agenda: intros, explaining their role, going over the job description, letting me introduce myself, asking some questions, and then Q&A. It felt okay, but they didn't really follow it. They told me their title and what they do, then immediately jumped into behavioral questions. It felt disorganized because they didn't ask about my current role or why I wanted the job, etc. It was like, 'Here's what I do, here's the job, tell me about a time...' and that was it.

Behavioral Case Technical

The hiring process for the Product Operations Analyst role at ForUsAll was fairly straightforward. I submitted an application through the ATS and then got an email asking for a phone/video screen with the immediate hiring manager. After that first screen, I was asked to move on to a second screen, which was a case study discussion about problems small and medium-sized companies face with 401k administration fairness. Following the case study, I was invited onsite to interview with two other people from the company for about two hours. The hiring manager followed up a few weeks later to let me know the final outcome.
