Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Fortra.
Account Executive
It was all very casual and high level. I was ghosted after the 3rd round. I spoke with a local recruiter, but only after hours. Then I spoke with an overseas hiring manager via Teams, and then an overseas presales leader via Teams. I never got a proper explanation about the full recruitment process.
- Can you describe your experience collaborating with pre-sales teams?
Account Executive
The interview process was really professional and I liked all the steps. It was easy to meet the team and they were interested in my personality and what motivates me. It seems like a very family-oriented place to work.
- Tell me about your previous work experience and what you learned from it.
Account Executive
The process was easy but took some time. I first met with sales leadership, then did a product/solution presentation. The recruiter guided me through everything. It was a bit slow, but things kept moving forward. Once it was all done, the offer came through quickly and smoothly.
- Can you discuss your experience in IT/Security?
- Do you have experience as a VAR/SI?
- Share some of your sales successes.
