Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at FORTNA.
Analyst
I had 4 interviews for this role. They were all online, with 3 conducted via video call and one over the phone. The first two interviews went really well and were pretty straightforward. The third one was a bit strange because the interviewer wasn't in a role directly related to this position and had only been with the company for about a year. The final interview was with someone who worked remotely and didn't seem to have any direct connection to the job I was applying for.
- Can you share an instance where you took charge of a project?
Analyst
The interview process involved several rounds of behavioral interviews. There were phone interviews initially, and then a final in-person interview. The focus was on my supply chain and data analytics experience. I interacted with multiple interviewers. It was a pretty enjoyable interview, and I had time to ask my own questions at the end.
- Describe a situation where you enhanced a client's process.
Analyst
I had several interviews with engineers of different levels, starting from a grad and going up to managers. They used the star method for all interviews. The whole thing took about a month, and each interview was about 30 minutes long. After that, I didn't hear back, even though they said they'd let me know either way.
- How would you handle a situation where a colleague isn't meeting expectations?
