The hiring process involved a two-part assignment. First, you had to match character descriptions with the probability of their behaviors. Second, you needed to analyze a Google Sheets dataset to spot patterns and trends, which was then discussed during an interview.

It was a Zoom interview with 12 other candidates. There were 3 different assignments, and you got time for each one. The first was about matching shopping carts to people based on specific criteria and explaining why. The second and third were more general knowledge tests.

Overall the experience was nice. They kept me updated and told me about the process. There were a few steps. First, there was a phone call to get a general idea of who I am and what I can do. Then, there was a group test about credit card fraud, which wasn't too hard. The next step was a one-on-one test with Google-style questions and a personal interview. I was not ready for the questions asked.

  • Estimate the number of windows in New York City.
  • Estimate how many times a day cars drive over those windows.

Forter Risk Analyst Interview Questions

Quoted word for word from Forter interview reports.

Can you estimate how many windows are in NYC? The focus is on your approach rather than the final number, though the interviewer guided my thought process instead of letting me explore independently.
