Knowledge Manager
The interview process started with a phone screen with a recruiter, followed by a telephone interview with the hiring manager. Then, there were two in-person rounds. The first in-person round involved 5 one-on-one and panel interviews with the immediate team, business partners, hiring manager, and HR. The second in-person round had 3 one-on-one and panel interviews with a senior executive, technical teams, and the hiring manager. I found the whole process to be very professional and well-organized. The recruiter was great – always on time, flexible, and represented the company well. I never felt left hanging. Honestly, Forsythe's recruiting process is better than many big Silicon Valley companies. The interviewers were really experienced in their fields. I was impressed by how much they invest in their knowledge management and business transformation people. Everyone had great resumes and sharp skills that fit their teams perfectly, with no overlap, just a smooth process for delivering solutions. The interviewers were prepared and asked about not just the operational tools but also how to build a strategic approach that fits the user base. It was clear this role offered long-term growth, and interviewers explained how I'd partner with them and build shared services for efficiency and innovation. The interviews were relaxed and conversational; I never felt I had to defend my career. Each interview was a chance to share my experience and offer a new perspective on business problems. There was open dialogue and transparency. It was a tough decision to pass on this opportunity because the commute wasn't feasible, but I'd gladly join if that changed.

Analyst
I first met with a Recruiter at my university career fair. Then I had a 30-minute phone interview where we mostly talked about the company and the position, and the rest was about me and my resume. About a week later, I was invited for a 2-hour onsite interview. I spoke with both the supervisor of the academy program and the director. The interview was pretty straightforward, mostly discussing myself, what I'm looking for in this role, and asking a lot of questions, which they seemed to appreciate. After three weeks, they called back saying I interviewed well but didn't get the job due to a perceived lack of passion for IT.
- Could you explain your reasoning for selecting your major?
- What topics are you particularly enthusiastic about?
Solutions Architect
I had 4 phone interviews and 3 in-person interviews. The first few phone calls with HR, the Hiring Manager, and some team folks were good. Then I did the in-person interviews with more team members, which were engaging and tough. The last couple of interviews were very technical and made me think. But, one of the interviewers, a Director peer to the Hiring Manager, was quite unprofessional. They joined our meeting without saying anything, and then during the 75-minute interview, they kept leaving and rejoining the call without letting the other interviewer or me know. It just didn't seem professional and didn't reflect well on Forsythe.
- Could you explain the distinction between VPC and VPC+?
Security Solutions Architect
I had a breakfast interview scheduled with the solutions leader. The sales lead was also there and seemed friendly and professional. The solutions leader, however, came across as negative and mentioned multiple times that the role would be demanding. I acknowledged this and stated that I could handle the challenges and possess the necessary experience and background. The solutions leader had to leave at the end of the interview and said they would follow up. After a month of no contact, I reached out to both the recruiter and HR. Neither responded to my emails or provided an update. I found the entire process unprofessional and inconsiderate.
- Can you tell me about your experience with various security controls and tools?
