First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Forsys.
Associate
I recently interviewed at forsys. The hiring process seemed pretty random, like they ask everyone the same questions and people find them easy to answer (not sure how they shortlist). There were 2 technical interviews. The first one covered SQL, basic DSA, and my project. It felt like a formality, not really valuing candidates' effort. The second interview was a mix of technical and behavioral, and it was super short, like 15 mins. The interviewer for the second round even joined late and finished within 10 mins.

Data Migration Engineer
They asked normal descriptive questions, but I wasn't selected. Questions covered migration steps, documentation, mapping, client interaction, cloud tools, performance tuning, challenges, and leading a team with task SLA tracking.
- Can you detail performance tuning strategies for databases and discuss the steps involved in migration?
- Could you explain performance tuning for databases and outline the migration steps?
Director
I went through a hiring process for a director role and got to the final interview. There were 5 rounds in total, with 2 of them being in person. The recruiter contacted me excessively, calling about 8 times daily. The last conversation was positive, with a good exchange of ideas with the panel. I was told I'd hear back by the end of the week regarding feedback. The discussions touched upon Variable Pay being 20% in 2025 for a director, which seemed surprising. However, the end of the week passed without any word, and then another week, and another. Despite sending polite follow-ups, I received no response for over two weeks. I learned through a LinkedIn post by a mutual contact that they had hired someone else. This lack of communication after significant preparation and a positive final meeting was disappointing. It makes me question whether I would have joined, and I'm definitely not interested in future opportunities. The recruiter went from frequent calls to complete silence, not even a courtesy message about the decision. While I understand internal processes exist, clear timelines and communication are crucial. Ghosting candidates after multiple rounds is demotivating. I'm taking this as a learning experience that has made me more resilient. The job market is unpredictable, but the 'show must go on.'

Software Engineer
The interview had 5 rounds total. First was a logical CBT test. Second was a group discussion (GD). Third was technical round 1, fourth was technical round 2, and the fifth was an HR round. Overall, it was a good experience. The GD topic was 'Does Engineers have work-life balance?'. Tech round 1 focused on my project details and SQL knowledge. Tech round 2 covered code optimization and DSA.
- Can you describe your involvement in your mini and major projects?
