Had a bad time with the hiring manager. When I asked about his management style, he said he wouldn't defend his team against criticism from sales. Career progression was mentioned; he said you have to do a job above your level, which makes sense. But then he mentioned Singapore and expecting a promotion in a few years, which felt like a bad stereotype. He also asked strange questions like how I'd handle harsh criticism and what's changed my mind recently, which don't seem related to being a CSM. I'm not sure how he's a leader in this field.

Behavioral Technical Case

I submitted my CV and had an initial call. This was followed by an interview with the manager and a case study. The day before the manager interview, it was postponed to the next day without any notification, which was a bit annoying as an email would have been appreciated. I was rejected after the introductory call, which only lasted 15 minutes and had only three questions. I was surprised by the rejection at this stage, as I thought my skills were a good match for the role. I asked for feedback but never received a reply.

Behavioral Presentation

I applied on LinkedIn for a different role, but the recruiter suggested this one, saying I'd be a good fit. The process had 4 steps and was just okay. First, there was a screening call, then an interview with the hiring manager. After that, I interviewed with the hiring manager's bosses. The last step involved a presentation to them and another team member about a task I was given, which was the hardest part because I was new to the role. But, the recruiter was right about me being a good fit! 😊
