You’ll go through a few rounds with interviewers who aren’t afraid to challenge your thinking. It just wasn’t the right career move for me at this time. They do check your references and will give you the info you need to decide if it’s a good fit.

This was a pretty long and tough interview process, but in a good way. It felt like a test drive for the role. Usually, you just talk about the job and yourself, but here, I got to do the actual work and they got to check out my skills. It kicked off with a recruiter call, then a chat with the hiring manager. After that, I think I met with more team members. The next step was a big one: I had to write a brief, which is what Analysts do all the time at Forrester. Once I sent that in, I flew to Cambridge to present my findings to everyone in person. It was a lot, but since the hiring process is so crucial for both sides, I felt it was totally worth it.

Had a first chat with the recruiter who was super helpful and available throughout. My first interview was a 30-min talk with the hiring manager, pretty conversational. Then I had 3 more interviews over the course of a week. After that, I did a presentation for the team, which was pretty straightforward and lasted about 40 mins with Q&A. Got the offer a few days later.
