Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Formlabs.
Executive Recruiter
I was reached out to by a recruiter who does candidate research, and we had an initial chat, followed by a phone interview with the hiring manager. Scheduling was super quick using Greenhouse and they seemed really eager to fill the role.
- Have you recruited for engineers before?
Campus Recruiter
The interview process for this role was really seamless and I had great communication throughout, quick follow-up, and a lot of support. There was a presentation in the final round interview which required a decent amount of preparing for, but gave me insight to the scope of the work and the company. When I needed an update, I could reach out to the recruiter and she responded really quickly and was always able to be clear in what the future of the process was.
- Case study activity and presentation
Senior Recruiter
I had a virtual interview set up, but nobody showed up when it was supposed to start. I contacted the coordinator, who apologized and said she'd check on it. The next day, I found out the job was already filled. It's really rude and inconsiderate when a company doesn't respect a candidate's time.
- The initial phone screen included some basic questions.
