First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Ford Fry Restaurants.

It was a long and boring process, with pointless questions that have nothing to do with the job. It is much more personality oriented. The interview is more of a group thing with more than one person, and you could also interview with more than one manager in a day.
- Describe a situation where you had a conflict with a manager and how you resolved it. What was the outcome?

You get called in for an in-person interview. If they like you, you will then be asked to come in for a working interview. If that goes well, you'll receive an email from the HR department for a final interview and if that goes well, you'll receive an email regarding orientation. At orientation you fill out all the necessary documents and learn a little about the company. You will then get back in touch with a manager to discuss your start date.
- Tell me about the best meal you've ever had.

Got contacted by a recruiter about an interview, but they thought I was applying for a hostess role, not a server one. They offered a few times for a phone interview the next evening. I only saw the email that day and when I replied, I got rejected right away. It seemed like they really needed servers, probably because of the upcoming patio season, but I guess they aren't that desperate if they rejected me so fast.
