We had an initial chat, then a second interview where I had to do a simple practical test: write a proposal and an email. They mentioned a lot that the role needs a lot of availability and long hours.

Started with a 45-min Zoom chat with HR, which was nice and quick to get back to me. Then about a week later, I had a 1:1 with the team director. This second interview, the director was kinda rude and kept cutting me off, and then ended the meeting early. Never heard back from HR after that.

So, I applied online, and a couple weeks later, Ford Foundation reached out. The process had five steps. First, I talked to a headhunter. Then, I did a written assignment. After that, I interviewed with the program officers, then met with directors from different departments. The last step was a meeting with the program director. It was a pretty detailed and structured process. They asked a mix of technical questions and questions about how I interact with people and fit into the company culture.
