Behavioral Group Case

The interview process involved two interviews, one on-campus and one off-campus. The first interview was pretty straightforward, focusing on behavioral and situational questions. The recruiter was friendly and seemed to be looking for someone who could communicate effectively and show professionalism and confidence. The second interview featured a group case study. We were given the case beforehand, and then we had to collaborate with a team at their location to reach a consensus. After that, we had a tour and a final interview where they asked more behavioral questions and in-depth situational questions. Overall, it was a great experience. The Ford Credit team is very friendly and just wants to find the best fit for the company.

Case Group Behavioral

I applied to the program via my university's career center website. A few days later, I got a notification to set up an in-person interview on campus. Then, I got a phone call to attend the Talent Management Conference in Franklin, TN. They paid for hotel, airfare, transfers, and food, which was nice. Before the conference, we all had to do a lengthy case study. The trip was exhausting because we could only stay one night and I was coming from the West Coast. We had to wait for our bus to Ford's office at 7:15am CST (5:15 PST), so waking up at 5:30am CST (3:30am PST) after traveling was rough. Some people drove an hour to get there. It felt poorly planned. At the conference, there was a group interview and a regular interview with two people. The interview itself was brutal, with 7 super long questions, each with about 5 parts. I liked the interviewers but hated the questions. After the conference, I learned that after the 3-year program, there's no clear path forward and it depends on business needs, suggesting limited upward mobility. Also, tuition reimbursement might be possible but is up to your manager. They seem more focused on business needs than individual growth. I'm glad I didn't get selected, as I'm pursuing my Ph.D. in September.

Behavioral Technical Case Group

Started with some online assessments that were pretty straightforward. Then I had a 45-minute on-campus interview that was mostly behavioral, but the questions were quite long. About two weeks after that, I was invited to a leadership conference in Nashville. It was a long day, featuring a group case assessment and then individual interviews. The interview questions were actually pretty tough, with 5 behavioral and 2 situational ones. My advice is to just be honest and personable, as that's a big part of what they're looking for!
