Had 3 interviews in total. First, a chat with the recruiter, then an interview with the hiring manager, and finally a technical interview with a panel. The whole thing was super easy and they were quick with scheduling. I've done a lot of interviews and this was the fastest process from start to offer.

The interview was part of an open house event. The interviewer seemed disengaged, frequently checking their phone. I later learned from a recruiter in the lobby that all positions had already been filled by the time of the open house, which was frustrating as this information wasn't shared earlier. The positions that were offered were not local, and the interviewer expressed no interest in expanding their team. I had previously provided the recruiter with my clearance status, and she still encouraged me to attend. Not sure why I was invited.

Had a phone call first and then an in person interview. It was pretty straightforward. The phone interview was basic technical stuff, and the in person one had tougher technical questions. Then I had a management interview with the IT Director. They told me to wait a week for a decision, but I got a call the next day and was cleared to start working within two weeks.

- Know basic networking and how to configure firewalls.
- Know how to work with Qradar, and nessus.
