Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Forcepoint.
Quality Assurance
They initially posted for 4 job roles, but only shortlisted 2 and ended up hiring one candidate for just one role. The interview process was quite difficult. It included an aptitude round, two technical interviews, and an HR round. They asked me 3-4 puzzles, DSA, and basic coding questions.
- Could you solve this puzzle: cut a cake into 8 pieces using only 3 cuts?
- They asked me puzzles, DSA, and coding basics.
- There was an aptitude round and 2 technical interviews.
Software QA Engineer
It was a 2 round process, L1 and L2. L1 was technical questions and experience-based questions. L2 was also the same but the interviewer was extremely rude. They accused me of reading my current job role and responsibilities from my screen! I replied I can share my screen as my camera was already turned on for the video call. After L2 I tried calling the HR after a few days and they did not pick up both times.
- Can you describe the defect lifecycle in ALM?
- Could you tell me about the Scrum ceremonies conducted in your current team?
QA Engineer
So there were three rounds. The first one was a technical interview where they asked me questions about things on my resume. Then the second round was a mix of technical and managerial stuff, with situational questions. The last round was with HR, and they wanted to know about my experience at my previous company.
- Can you discuss manual testing and automation testing?
- What are some common Linux commands?
- Tell me about your experience with Selenium.
