Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Force Factor.
Digital Marketing Analyst
It was a really relaxed interview. The person interviewing me was super friendly and talked a lot about what it's like to work here. Since it was just an introductory chat, most of the questions were about my resume and my strong and weak points, not really about analytics.
- What is it that appeals to you about Force Factor?
Digital Marketing Analyst
I had a first round interview for a digital marketing analyst role. After the interview, I got an automated email saying they were moving on with other candidates. The interview was pretty basic, asking about my experience and how I am as a coworker. The interviewer was a college intern who had only been there for about two weeks, which I found inappropriate and a bit insulting. She did a good job, but I couldn't learn much about the company from her. I later found out the department only had two people, so I don't get why someone from that department couldn't meet me. I haven't had this happen at other companies, even smaller ones, and it put me off. I hope Force Factor respects job seekers more in the future, especially if they want to attract "top talent".
- Can you share an instance where you overcame a work-related challenge?
Digital Marketing Analyst
Got an email saying that they were impressed with my resume and gave me a link to fill out my availability. I filled out my availability for the next two weeks and they confirmed an interview for the end of the next week. When I joined the call everything seemed ok until I started answering the questions. The interviewer looked bored/disinterested and would interrupt my answers every few seconds with a very tone-deaf "nice" or "that's awesome"! I thought the interview went well, they proceeded to send me an email saying "we have chosen to pursue additional candidates who more closely match the skills required for this position. " Which is interesting because I never spoke to anyone that even worked on the team of this role, just the first round HR representative.
- Can you share your experience with Excel and Google Analytics?
