Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Foot Locker.
IT Intern
The interview process involved two initial interviews. The company was very open to college students who were eager to learn. The entire process was conducted remotely and took about a week and a half. The interviewers were really interested in getting to know you and were happy to answer your questions.
- Can you tell me about any college classes you're currently taking that are relevant to this position?
Student Assistant
Nice contact, but pressure was built up. A sales situation was simulated with tricky catch questions. The store manager and his deputy asked about the company's history, my experience, and my future plans regarding my studies, life, and relationships. The interviewers were the store manager and his deputy.
- What do you know about our company?
Intern
It was a pretty standard interview setup with two rounds. First, I talked to HR, and then I had a chat with the department manager. They asked some basic questions about my background and experiences from school and previous internships, and how those would be relevant to this internship.
- Could you tell me about your greatest strength?
- And what would you say is your greatest weakness?
