Customer Service Representative
It was super chill, just be yourself and you'll do great. It felt more like a chat than a formal interview. If you're confident and speak up, you'll be fine.
- Can you share an instance where you provided outstanding customer service?
Customer Service Representative
The interview was face-to-face at the store with the manager. It was a calm and honest conversation, where they tried to be flexible with my work hours. They offered me a schedule and said they would call me back.
- What is your availability?
- What would you do if you had too many customers?
Customer Service Representative
After recruiters thought I was a good fit and sent my application to Foot Locker, I got a case study. They liked my profile and then invited me for an interview with the hiring manager. Two people interviewed me. It went well, and I felt I had the skills for the job. They gave me that impression too. I was positive, especially since they mentioned hiring 6 people. I waited for feedback, which took longer than expected. The feedback was positive about my skills but ultimately a rejection because I don't speak common European languages. The job only listed English as mandatory, and I was told it was an English-only position. They never asked about my other languages. The reason for rejection seemed to be that my native language wasn't as 'attractive' as Italian or Spanish. This felt like a waste of time, and I missed other opportunities. They should have specified language requirements in the job description. It would have made sense then. They should have more respect for applicants.
- Can you tell me why you applied for this role and why you want to work for Foot Locker?
- What are your weaknesses?
