Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Food Lion.
Stocker
It was an easy process. They asked me questions about my past experience and then showed me around the workplace. There was nothing difficult at all to do. That's really all there is to say.
- Can you tell me about your previous experience in this field?
Stocker
The interview is super easy, they just ask basic questions and it's a quick process. They don't drug test but they do run a background check. This is a great job if you're trying to work and go to school because they're flexible with hours if you're willing to put in the work.
- What would you do if you saw a lady stealing a loaf of bread?
Stocker
It took about a week or more to get back to me, the interviewer called me and set up a date and time to come in. The interviewer was very disrespectful, hardly paying any attention to me during the interview and was doing other things like talking to the other employees and looking on his laptop. Would definitely NOT recommend working at a company with such disrespectful employees. Didn't get a call back.
- Could you share your biggest weakness?
- Why do you think you would be a good fit for Food Lion?
