Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at FNZ.
Quality Assurance Engineer
It was two rounds of interviews. The first was a Technical Interview where they asked about my resume, SQL, and some basic automation questions. The second was a Managerial Interview that included scenario-based questions, discussions about office workflow, how I handle problems, and the testing processes.
- Questions from my resume, offcourse.
- Medium level SQL questions.
- Puzzles like cake cutting and weight coin.
QA Analyst
The whole thing took about 2 weeks, which felt like a long time. First, they have you do this GIA test. They don't tell you how you did on it, but then they ask you to come in for an in-person interview. After you finish the in-person part, they let you know that you actually didn't pass the GIA test. It's kind of frustrating because if the GIA test is the first hurdle and you don't pass, why even bother having candidates come in for another interview?
- Can you write some basic SQL queries?
- Please write functional test cases for the requirement provided.
- Could you test the REST API using the Postman tool?
QA Lead
First, there was a written exam with 5 questions about the field you're applying for. Then, a 30-minute technical interview over video. Finally, a skills assessment focusing on your abilities and leadership qualities.
