Project Manager
It took some effort to convince the hiring managers of my determination to leave banking and join FNZ. The whole process took about 2 months to complete and onboard. The interview process was smooth. They didn't focus much on project management methodology, but more on stakeholder management and conflict management.
- What makes you want to leave your current role and join FNZ?
Project Manager
I had an initial call with Talent Acquisition, and then there was supposed to be a telephone interview. However, the telephone interview was cancelled last minute without much explanation, even though the job was still being advertised. It was really disappointing given all the prep I did. I felt like maybe the interview could have still gone ahead for potential future roles.
- Were you prepared to work extremely hard under high pressure?
Project Manager
First, we had a general chat, like 'tell me about yourself'. Then, there was about forty minutes of competency-based questions. It was a really nice interview with pleasant managers. They explained the role and what FNZ does. It was also expected that I'd already know about the firm.
- Can you share an instance where you had a disagreement with your manager?
- Could you tell me about a time when you disagreed with your manager?
