Software Engineer
It's a long but pleasant process, which allows you to get to know the company's ins and outs, the way of working, and the people who make it up. There are several phases - contact with HR - interview with a tech lead - technical test at home - review of the technical test - pair programming, with a new functionality on the technical test - architecture design problem - informal meeting with other team members. At all times they allow you to ask all kinds of questions and treat people with respect, making candidates feel part of the team before receiving an offer.
- Describe the design of a file transfer system.
Software Engineer
I applied and then had a recruiter call. The first steps were a phone screen with a coding problem. Then I had an in-person interview with the hiring manager, a junior dev, and a senior dev, where they asked me about databases and Java. I thought it went well and got good feedback, but then they ghosted me. Really unprofessional and a waste of my time, especially since it seemed like a cool job.
- Could you discuss database concepts?
- Tell me about your experience with Java.
Software Developer
- Given the logs of a Docker image orchestrator, explain what you understand and what you don't. It's expected you don't understand much, as it's not the focus, but you should be able to identify some things.
